Beyond
The Courtroom
Helping divorced and common-law families separate quickly and effectively with a long term plan that creates a (sustainable) framework for their co-parenting journey.
My 10+ years of experience as a co-parent, court rostered, and Adrio Acc. Family Mediator. I work with you where you are at and apply valuable professional and lived experience to create clear path forward.
A COMFORTABLE SPACE TO HAVE uncomfortable CONVERSATIONS
LET’S NAVIGATE THIS PATH together.
My Approach
What it’s like to work with me.
WELCOME TO A HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER LIFE.
What you leave with:
A clearer understanding of your situation, a short but realistice list of next steps, reduced fear and urgency, and the language needed to communicate more effectively.
I am a court rostered family Mediator in Ontario who has spent years working with families navigating separation - including high conflict dynamics, power imbalances, and trauma-affected communication.
I have seen what happens when people are pushed too quickly into systems without orientation and apply early intervention skills to reduce harm & conflict in your process.
In Mediation, we cover topics such as decision making, parenting time, financial disclosure, communication plans. The process typically looks something like this:
10 billable hours (5 per client)
Two 1 hour intakes
6 hours in joint session together either in-person or virtually, working on your agreement, hours are invoiced after each session, and split between both people
2 hours of report writing, which would include a full detailed agreement.
This process is ideal for:
Those who are considering separating but are unsure where to start.
Are separated but feel stuck or overwhelmed.
Want clarity prior to speaking with a lawyer.
How We Can Work Together
Family Mediation
Many people report a higher degree of satisfaction with mediation than with arbitration or other court processes because they can control the result as well as, how the resolution unfolds.
Mentoring
Learn how to reduce escalation while holding boundaries, communicate effectively through your lawyer, support understanding what financial disclosure means, or possibly support navigating the complexities of the Ontario family law system.
The Investment
You well being is never a bad investment. Explore the different ways we could work together to achieve your goals and discover your interests; whether it be through mediation, mentoring, or an abundance of free valuable resources.
