Divorce Children Separation FamilyLaw

Frequently asked questions when families or couples first decide to separate their single family unit into two:

  1. How are things with both our names on them going to be separated?

  2. Do we have assets and debts, how do we divide them?

  3. What are support payments, and what do those look like?

  4. We have kids, how are we planning to each spend time with them day to day, as well as holidays.

  5. We have pets & kids, how are we going to communicate with your children, with each other, and how are major decisions going to be made?

No Guessing. No going in circles. No wasted time.

Helping families negotiate quickly and effectively to create a mutually beneficial agreement using a (sustainable) framework for their next journey.

My Approach

WELCOME TO A HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER LIFE.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.

Every family is different — which is why my role is to help you understand your options, stay focused on what matters, and build a plan that works for your specific situation.

When you work with me, you can expect:

  • A clear, structured process (no going in circles)

  • Direct, honest guidance on how and what to prioitize

  • Support navigating both emotional and practical decisions

  • A focus on long-term sustainability — not short-term reactions

The Mediation Process:

Step 1: Intake (Virtual)
We meet confidentially, one-on-one, to understand your situation and identify what needs to happen. If you book a 50 minute consultation, this is applied to your intake.

Step 2: Preparation
You gather key information — I guide you so nothing is missed. Information helps us make informed decisions on how to best move forward in an equitable way.

Step 3: Joint Sessions
We work determine what decisions require support making together, with structure and direction.

Step 4: Agreement Development
Your decisions are turned into a clear, practical agreement.

This is how we move from uncertainty → to resolution.

How you create these are agreements can happen in a few different ways.

This process is for you if:

  1. You want to resolve things but want some support ensuring you are not missing anything.

  2. You’re ready to formalize your DIY agreement

  3. You need a formal document to bridge you until you are legally divorced for example, your mortage or car registration.

  4. You are ready to move forward through supported conversations — not stay stuck

Together, we focus on communication, including through your lawyer and co-parent. You will gain a clear understanding of your strategy, what is being asked of you, and what is actually required, so you can make informed decisions without confusion.

Throughout the process, you are supported in navigating the Ontario family law system with clarity and direction, so you are not left guessing your next step.

Her informed and compassionate approach, coupled with her extensive knowledge and experience, makes her the ideal choice for Family Law matters. She is able to provide you with a clear understanding of your options, possible outcomes, as well as giving you the space and opportunity to feel validated. She exudes a welcoming and friendly personality that makes working with her effortless. While you are already struggling with the stress of Family Law, Paige refrains from adding to that pressure. BRITTANY BELLMORE | COACHING CLIENT | ONTARIO

  • From day one, she was organized, thoughtful, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable.

Working with Paige during mediation was one of the best decisions I could have made during an extremely stressful and emotional time. What truly sets her apart is how much she genuinely cares about helping people find fair and reasonable solutions for everyone involved.

Paige consistently went above and beyond what was expected. She checked in when she didn’t have to, made herself available whenever possible, and always took the time to explain things clearly and calmly. Even in difficult moments, she brought a sense of peace and reassurance to the process. Her ability to stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented helped reduce tension and keep conversations productive.

What impressed me most was her dedication and resourcefulness. If she didn’t immediately have an answer, she would find it. She used every available resource to help guide the process in the right direction and always made me feel supported and heard. You can tell this is not “just a job” to her — she is truly passionate about helping people navigate difficult situations fairly and respectfully.

Paige approaches mediation with professionalism, integrity, empathy, and genuine care for both parties involved. She creates an environment where people feel comfortable communicating openly while still keeping things balanced and constructive. That combination is rare.

I cannot recommend Paige highly enough to anyone looking for a mediator who is knowledgeable, compassionate, organized, responsive, and truly invested in helping people move forward in a healthy and fair way.
